The goal of Budget’s warranty policy is to assure confidence and reduce downtime. Please contact Patrick Poull with Budget Customer Service @ 816-285-5203 or by email (patp@budgetforklift.com) to report any problems. Patrick will gather all the necessary information and provide a timely reply.

Forks

Limited Lifetime

All Budget forks are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the fork in normal use and service. Budget forks meet or exceed all ASME/ANSI B56,11,4 American National Standard requirements as provided by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Budget will have the option of replacing or repairing any fork which, upon its inspection, has been determined to be defective in material or workmanship. The purchaser shall be responsible for promptly informing Budget Customer Service of any perceived operational deficiencies or failures. Budget will be the sole party responsible for analysis of perceived operational deficiencies or failure.

Forks which do not fit because of incorrectly provided specifications are not returnable, are not covered by this limited warranty and constitute the property of the purchaser. Warranty is applicable only upon the approved return of the forks to Budget. In some cases, Budget may approve field repairs. Compensation for field repairs will be negotiated, and field repairs undertaken without approval by Budget Customer Service will void the warranty. Please see RETURN PROCEDURE below for details of how to initiate a claim and GENERAL below.

Attachments, Booms, Buckets & Other Accessories

1 Year Limited

1 Year Limited Warranty on all attachments and accessories. No warranties are expressed or implied as to the fitness of the equipment on which the attachment or accessory is installed. The purchaser will be responsible for promptly informing Budget Customer Service of any perceived operational deficiencies or failures. Budget will be the sole party responsible for analysis of perceived deficiencies or failures.

Parts replacement or repair will be at the discretion of Budget. In some cases, Budget may approve field repairs. Gorilla Grapple & Timberline Tree Shear

1 Year Limited

1 Year Limited Warranty on grapple and shear. No warranties are expressed or implied as to the fitness of the equipment on which the grapple or shear is installed. The purchaser will be responsible for promptly informing Budget Customer Service of any perceived operational deficiencies or failures. Budget will be the sole party responsible for analysis of perceived deficiencies or failures.

Grapples or shears which do not fit because of incorrectly provided specifications are not returnable, are not covered by this limited warranty and constitute the property of the purchaser. Grapple or shear replacement or repair will be at the discretion of Budget. In some cases, Budget may approve field repairs. Compensation for field repairs will be negotiated and field repairs undertaken without approval by Budget Customer Service will void the warranty. Budget will not be responsible for consequent damages, such as loss-of-business, rental, travel, or other expenses. Remanufactured Engines

6 Month Limited

Budget Forklift warrants all rebuilt engines shipped by us for a period of six (6) months from date of shipment, or one thousand (1000) hours of operation, whichever comes first. If any defects in material or workmanship occur during the warranty period, Budget Forklift will replace or repair the defective part in a manner satisfactory to all parties concerned.

Labor is available at the rate of $45.00 per hour for a predetermined number of hours. Credit will be issued upon return of defective part. Parts or charges not directly related to the specific repair are not covered, such as, but not limited to, cleaners, silicone, sealant, EPA charges, service supplies and sales tax.

This warranty shall not cover any engine repaired without our authorization, not installed properly, subjected to neglect, misuse, or accident, or for damage caused by external accessories. Budget Forklift will not compensate for rental, cartage, mileage, loss of manufacturing or consequential damages.

This warranty is void on any engine that has an overdue unpaid balance. At no time will any warranty compensation exceed the sale price of the engine.

Budget Forklift will not reimburse your company for unauthorized repairs. Make certain that authorization to repair your engine is obtained before doing any warranty work.

Miscellaneous New Parts

90 Day Limited

90 Day Limited Warranty on miscellaneous new parts. No warranties are express or implied as to the fitness of the equipment on which the part is installed. Miscellaneous new parts which have been abused or mis-used are not warrantable. The purchaser will be responsible for promptly informing Budget Customer Service or any perceived operational deficiencies or failures. Budget will be the sole party responsible for analysis of perceived deficiencies or failures.

Parts which do not fit because of incorrectly provided specifications are not returnable, are not covered by this limited warranty and constitute the property of the purchaser. Part repair or replacement will be at the discretion of Budget. Please see RETURN PROCEDURE below for details of how to initiate a claim and GENERAL below.

Mitco Tires

Limited Warranty

All products sold by MITCO are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. Any product found by us to have such a defect will be replaced or a reasonable adjustment or allowance will be made against the purchase of a new product, within our discretion. All other costs involved, including, but not limited to, labor, freight, service and taxes are to be borne by the buyer.

The buyer agrees that replacement or adjustment, as aforesaid, shall be the exclusive remedy and that MITCO shall not in any event be held liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages. MITCO makes no other warranty, express or implied and specifically excludes any and all warranties of MERCHANTABILTY and FITNESS for a particular purpose.

SPECIAL WARRANTY NOTICE

We do not warrant, and will not adjust for, any material added to pneumatic tires after leaving our facility. Furthermore, we will not adjust or warrant a tire which has failed as a result of adding any such materials (including but not limited to urethane fill, sealants, or balancing substances).

Return Procedure

Any product being returned for any reason must be approved prior to shipment by Customer Service. Returns require a Return Authorization Number, to be supplied by Customer Service.

Goods not returned within 30 days of the issuance of the Return Authorization will not be accepted. Unauthorized returns may be reshipped to the customer freight-collect. Restocking of returns are subject to a 15% restock fee.

Forks, attachments, accessories, Super Duty Grapples and Timberline Tree Shears made to customer’s specifications are non-cancelable and non-returnable.

Core Return Procedure

Please follow the core return procedure printed on Budget’s invoice and packing slip for all returns. All cores are subject to inspection before a credit will be allowed. Other than normal-wear items, any unusable parts may result in a core-credit deduction. A maximum deduction of 50% may be applied. Non-matching cores are not eligible for core credit. Cores are to be returned prepaid, unless other arrangements have been made with Budget sales personnel or Customer Service.

General

The Budget Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and may be void in the event that the product is sold or otherwise transferred. Budget Limited Warranties are valid only in the United States. No warranty will apply to any product that been (i) modified, altered or adapted without Budget's written consent, (ii) abused or misused, (iii) repaired by any third party in a manner which fails to meet Budget's repair standards, (iv) improperly installed (v) used with any device or implement not covered by this warranty, or (vi) used outside of the United States. This warranty does not include and there in hereby excludes normal maintenance parts and consumables, including but not limited to oil, belts, oil and fuel filters and similar items.

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WERE MADE OR RELIED ON IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE BUDGET PRODUCTS. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO VARY, MODIFY OR CHANGE THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

NEITHER PARTY SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE IN CONNECTION WITH OR ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PROPERTY SOLD TO THE PURCHASER INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF BUSINESS, REVENUE, PROFITS GOODWILL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE.

Nothing in this warranty affects any statutory rights of consumers or other purchasers that cannot be waived or limited by contract. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
